Senior Environmental Specialist

• Technical Section Writing and Environmental Impacts Assessment for baseline studies
• Public Hearing and Scoping Leadership
• Client and EMB Escalation Management
• Project and Staff Oversight
• Field Deployment Leadership

Qualification/Skills Needed:

Technical Competencies:

• Deep working knowledge of the Philippine EIS System (PD 1586, DAO 20•3-30, and subsequent issueances)
• Proficiency in technical Writing for EIS chapters including ecology, social impact, air quality, water quality, and environmental risk.
• Familiarity with EMB review processes, EIARC deliberation procedures and post ECC compliance requirements.
• Competency in field assessment methods for terrestrial and or marine ecology, biodiversity surveys, and environmental sampling.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under deadline pressure.

Other Requirements:

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Willing to be deployed to field sites as required by public scope.
• Familiarity with DENR regional offices and EMB procedures across multiple regions is an advantage.
• Professional Licensure (Environmental Planner, Chem Engineer, or related PRC board) is an advantage but not required.
