QA Engineer (Salesforce)

The MarTech QA Engineer is an innovative and tech-savvy detail-oriented QA Engineer that will ensure our Marketing Campaigns achieve the highest quality standards in the Banking industry.
This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our marketing automation and personalization systems and initiatives through comprehensive test automation and smoke testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in QA within marketing automation environments, a strong background in test automation frameworks, and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the overall quality of Martech solutions by performing functional, regression, and integration testing. Validate that marketing campaigns and workflows perform as expected.
- Collaborate with Martech, Product and Development Teams to understand requirements and Marketing Campaign goals, and based on that to develop detailed Test Plans, Test Cases, and Scenarios.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Marketing Automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo).
- Ensure that automated tests are comprehensive, scalable and efficient.
- Conduct smoke tests to verify the stability of new releases in Marketing Automation platforms and their assets.
- Identify, document, and track defects. Work closely with Martech and Development teams to ensure timely resolution and verification of issues according to established SLA and Severity.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure that marketing automation platforms can handle expected traffic and usage patterns.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test result evidence, and defect reports.
- Recurrently provides visibility on testing progress and outcomes through Testing reporting dashboards.
- Proactively monitor and analyze the performance of Marketing Campaigns, through establishing processes, reporting tools and analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Lead troubleshooting activities to identify outages’ root cause and help to facilitate resolving technical issues in the Martech Platforms (functionalities and features), ensuring minimal or zero disruption to Marketing operations.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience and knowledge in the most commonly used Testing approaches, emphasizing but not limited to Manual, Automated, Functional, Non-functional, Agile, Smoke, UAT, Security and Performance.
- 3 years of experience automating tests using Testim, Selenium, Cypress, QTP/UFT or similar tools.
- 2 years of experience using Test Management tools such as TestRail, qTest, Xray, Quality Center (ALM) or any similar tool.
- 2 years of experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation
- 2 years of experience Testing API integrations and related tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- 1 year of experience performing Testing activities under an Agile framework (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- 1 year of experience Testing Marketing Campaign using Martech Platforms such as Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot or similar.
- Experience building SQL queries.
- Advanced experience using Web and Mobile Testing platforms such as Browser Stack, Fire Base Test lab, Xcoe, TestFlight or similar.
- Experience using AMPScript and JavaScript.
- Experience using version control platforms (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds. Required Key Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Hands-on experience/ knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but open to other systems like HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot or similar.
- Experienced in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and analytics, including email deliverability. Familiarized with Marketing Automation concepts such as Lead Management, scoring, Demand Generation, Personalization, and Lifecycle/Growth Marketing is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a thorough approach to testing. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with a desire for complete ownership of projects.
- Flexible, can-do attitude, excelling in a highly dynamic environment.

- Capable to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, , Information Technology or a related field.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for integrating automated tests.
