About the role
Shacman Service Center is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to join our team in our Quezon City, Metro Manila location. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality training and development to our technical staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
What you'll be doing- Design and deliver technical training programs covering a range of topics, including product knowledge, troubleshooting, and service procedures
- Assess training needs and develop customized training plans to address skill gaps
- Utilize a variety of training methods, such as hands-on demonstrations, interactive workshops, and e-learning modules
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make continuous improvements to the training curriculum
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to technical staff to reinforce learning and ensure consistent service delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with business objectives and customer requirements
- Provide truck technical training (electrical systems/engine/transmission/axle/other systems)
- Write diagnostic and repair procedures
- 4+ years of vehicle repair or technical training experience
- Familiar with engine, transmission, and axle systems.
- Familiar with European/American/Japanese/Korean truck brands.
- Strong knowledge of technical concepts, equipment, and procedures related to the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and engaging manner
- Proficient in developing and delivering training programs using a variety of methods and technologies
- Ability to assess training needs, develop customized training plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address training challenges
- Passion for continuous learning and development, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
