Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for truck parts and maintenance services, ensuring they meet TOP1movers' quality and reliability standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the company
Fleet Maintenance Coordination:
- Collaborate with the fleet maintenance team to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement of necessary parts and services.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of truck parts and supplies, anticipating needs and preventing shortage or overstock situations.
Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Manage purchasing budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost- saving opportunities, and potential improvements in the procurement process.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and transactions.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels to management.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and recommendations for procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a strong focus on Truck Maintenance and Parts Requisitions.
- Proven Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of truck maintenance procedures and parts requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of team in fast-paced environment.
