Cold Storage Technician - Manila
About the role
As a Cold Storage Technician at PTC Commercial Corporation, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration and cold storage equipment. This full-time role is based in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila, and plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's cold storage facilities.
What you'll be doing- Performing regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance of cold storage equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with refrigeration systems, and implementing appropriate repair solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of all equipment maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure optimal temperature and humidity levels are maintained in cold storage areas
- Providing technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
- Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cold Storage Technician or similar role in the maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration systems
- Technical diploma or certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment for refrigeration systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
