Job Role: Outbound Caller / Customer Service Sales Representative
Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: We are looking for an energetic and professional Outbound Caller/CSR to engage with our existing customer base and introduce them to additional services and value-add products. This role focuses primarily on warm calling (existing customers), with some cold calling as needed.

The goal is to build strong customer relationships, book services, and generate additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to existing customers and occasionally to new prospects.
  • Present and explain services in clear, professional English, ensuring customers understand the value and benefits.
  • Upsell additional services and product add-ons in a consultative, customer-focused manner.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and match them with suitable solutions.
  • Accurately document customer responses, interactions, and outcomes in the CRM/system.
  • Build rapport and represent the company in a friendly, professional, and trustworthy manner.
  • Follow call guidelines while maintaining a natural, engaging conversation style.
  • Handle objections confidently and turn conversations into opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights, improve call strategies, and achieve collective targets.
  • Meet or exceed set targets for bookings, upsells, and conversions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent spoken and written English (neutral, professional, and easy to understand).
  • Previous experience in outbound calling, telesales, or customer service, ideally in a sales-driven role.
  • Strong sales and persuasion skills with the ability to confidently handle objections and close deals.
  • A motivated, confident, and target-driven personality with a positive, resilient attitude.
  • Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with changing priorities.
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn and use CRM systems, call tools, and other digital platforms.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy to build trust and deliver genuine customer care.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

  • Be available for meetings and collaboration during core [AEST or PHT] business hours
