Job description
  • Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production: Reviews production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, materials, machines and equipment.
  • Develop work orders and schedules for upcoming productions. Encode Production Planning in SAP system to extract the material needed for production. Production report should be posted every after production.
  • Distributes work orders to departments and proposed completion dates to be produced.
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods.
  • Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise all department concerned of the production delays.
  • Coordinates with warehouse with the inventory of materials and parts needed to complete the production.
  • Establish per mill capacity based on TPH per die size and form. Determine the machine assignment per SKU resulting in optimized change-over and set-up time.
  • Monitor process yield, analyze reasons for losses and implement improvement actions.
  • Work with Managers to coordinate, plan and delegate daily work responsibilities to production staff.
  • Assures production processes are compliant with quality control procedures.
  • Strict implementation of formulation control in order to assure that products are produced according to the latest version.
  • Monitors quality performance and implement measures to reduce non-conforming products.
  • Maintain good product traceability.
  • Identify corrective and preventive actions for any product non-conformities.
  • Daily checking and monitoring of products on proper hard pile and pallets.
  • Adhere to safety policy and regulation of the company.
  • Always wear proper PPE.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.

Educational Requirements and Professional Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge in Manufacturing Industry and its associate equipment (Feed mill experience is an advantage)
  • 1 year of previous related experience
  • SAP experience is a plus.
