Maintenance Manager (Mechanical Engineer)

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager (Mechanical Engineer) is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities of all mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities. The role ensures maximum equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency to support production operations while complying with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment and utilities.
• Supervise daily maintenance operations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Assign and monitor work orders, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Promote continuous improvement and skills development among the team.
• Ensure proper calibration, servicing, and upkeep of machines, utilities, and support facilities.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, as well as environmental regulations.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTTR, MTBF, etc.) and recommend improvement plans.

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC) required.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities (boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC), and industrial equipment.
• Proficient in maintenance planning and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and project management abilities.

• Plant-based role with regular exposure to production areas, equipment, and utilities.
• May require overtime, shifting schedules, or on-call availability during breakdowns or emergencies.
