Qualifications & experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent.
- Some working experience in related fields— construction, engineering & design, architecture, and building materials including hands-on and report/document writing.
- High level of integrity, ethics, compliance to company safety, policies and related laws, and imperative to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and intellectual property of products and services;
- Great attitude who embraces every situation with enthusiasm and a Customer-centric approach. Committed and have displayed a sense of urgency to respond to customers;
- Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented; resonate with company values including safety aspects.
- The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for both technical sales, and pre-sales / product specification. They must provide customers with technical advice on the use of company products and exploit market opportunities leading to increase brand awareness;
- They shall focus on having company products specified to structural / design firms, consultants, developers, contractors and project management firms;
- They will also provide (in coordination with the technical department), safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to problems encountered by specifiers and end users.
- Responsible for the sales & business development for new products and application fields; not limited to precast, façade, industrial, data center, infrastructure, buildings, tunneling, power, and renewable energy;
- Preparation of presentations in coordination with the Technical Department. Actively provide technical support to customers / internal sales department and production department. Research on local construction methods and country-specific construction methods.
- Cooperation with material testing laboratories, test supervision, and relevant authorities and government institutions relevant to construction and building materials;
- Preparing and working on proposals for quotations. Organize seminars for customers, design institutes / external product training. Participate in related exhibitions, trade fairs, seminars and related events;
- Developing & maintaining product brochures and other materials related to marketing and specifications. Developing & maintaining a proper archive of technical, marketing, and specifications related documents;
- To perform other duties as are necessary to execute core duties or other duties assigned by Country General Manager.
