What is the job?

The Data Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and managing the organization’s data infrastructure and architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Modeling: Build scalable, secure data architectures and develop enterprise-wide data models and metadata standards.
• ETL/ELT Development: Create robust ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from diverse sources with a focus on speed and reliability.
• Data Quality & Automation: Ensure data integrity and implement automation to streamline data transformation and reporting processes.
• Scripting & Maintenance: Write and optimize scripts (Python, SQL, Shell) for data movement, and adapt them as needs evolve.
• AI/ML Integration: Embed AI/ML models into pipelines and evaluate modern tools (LLMs, AutoML, computer vision) to enhance analytics.
• Visualization Support: Collaborate with BI teams to deliver interactive dashboards and promote self-service analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
• Expertise in data modeling, architecture design, and SQL-based systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, maintainable code and systems.
