Full job description
- Responsible for managing the planning and development of assigned real estate projects from initial evaluation through project turnover. Responsible for assisting with the approvals and design of the affordable housing development projects. Must provide quality development management and meet project objectives. In addition, project development supervisors ensure fostering effective relationships internally and externally, including all third parties (e.g., community organizations, architects, JV partners, construction managers, government liaisons, etc.)
- Monitor, secure, and ensure regulatory compliance for titling, permits, and licenses before land development and during the post-development of the project.
- Represent the team in other external affairs related to the project such as community relations and government relations.
- Ensure that the established relationship with the Government Agencies / Local Government Units, specifically the Registry of Deeds, Assessor’s Office, Land Tax, and Bureau of Internal Revenue, where we are actively operating business, is sustained and strengthened.
- Develop project concepts, business cases, and development strategies.
- Coordinate the project approval process and prepare supporting documentation for management review.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Monitor and ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project.
- Assist in managing the predevelopment activities and financing tasks of the project for development.
- Assist the Head/Manager with successful coordination, completion, and submittal of all requests for proposals.
- Assist in the preparation of development plans including but not limited to: Preparation of Project Schedule, Project Description, Market Analysis.
- Prepare preliminary financial analyses and investment evaluations for potential land acquisitions.
- Coordinate technical and legal due diligence activities with internal teams and external consultants.
- Assist in evaluating acquisition opportunities based on financial and commercial feasibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in project development, real estate development, feasibility analysis, investment analysis, or related functions.
- Experience in residential or township developments is an advantage.
