About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Staff to join the team at OGURA CLUTCH PHILIPPINES INC.' in our Lipa City, Batangas office. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting support to ensure the smooth financial operations of the company.
What you'll be doing- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Providing support during audits and tax preparation
- Collaborating with the finance team to improve processes and implement financial controls
- Performing ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a small or medium-sized business
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
