Taguig - Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant SSMA

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in SQL Server migration, strong technical documentation skills, and a good understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications using Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform database migration from various platforms to SQL Server using SSMA, ensuring data integrity and system compatibility.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure the quality and efficiency of the applications.
• Utilize tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio to support development and maintenance activities.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up to date with new features of SSMA and other relevant tools and technologies to continuously improve migration strategies.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA).
• Strong understanding of database design and development principles, with proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with .NET Framework and C# programming language.
• Proficient in using development tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
