Retail Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at CHEFS AND BAKERS' in Bacolod City, Negros Oriental. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient store management.

1. Supervising and leading a team of retail associates, providing guidance, training and support to ensure they deliver outstanding customer service
2. Overseeing store inventory, merchandising, and product displays to maximize sales and maintain a visually appealing store environment
3. Handling cash management, sales reporting and other administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the store
4. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective solutions to enhance store operations
5. Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture, and promoting a safe and inclusive work environment
6. Serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a professional and timely manner

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably in the food or consumer products industry
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
3. Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to provide exceptional, personalised service
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions
5. Proficient in inventory management, sales reporting, and other administrative tasks
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
7. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
