Planner/Buyer

About the role

Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking an experienced Planner/Buyer to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, purchasing, and inventory management of materials and supplies to support our manufacturing operations.

• Develop and maintain effective procurement plans to meet production requirements
• Coordinate with the suppliers regarding materials inquiry
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Continuously analyse and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
• Provide regular reports and updates on procurement performance to management

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a procurement or buyer role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain challenges
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers
• Knowledge in using SAP and inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree holder
