Junior Product Manager - Quezon City

Position Overview:

AECO Energy is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the development and delivery of our product suite across Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, this role supports agile product development, cross-functional alignment, and customer-centric innovation—while operating within our ISO 9001-certified quality framework to ensure consistency, traceability, and continual improvement.

Functional Scope:

1. Backlog Ownership: Maintain and groom the product backlog by organizing user stories, bugs, and technical tasks. Ensure items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
2. Sprint Planning Support: Collaborate with the Product Manager to plan and facilitate sprint planning sessions, ensuring team alignment on sprint goals and deliverables.
3. User Story Writing: Translate business and product requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories with acceptance criteria that guide development.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the product manager, developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of features and resolve blockers quickly.
5. Release Readiness: Help prepare product releases by managing documentation, reviewing release notes, and supporting communication efforts for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Customer Feedback Loop: Collect, document, and analyze customer feedback from various channels (e.g., support, sales, user testing) and relay insights to the product team for consideration.
7. Market & Competitor Tracking: Assist in researching industry trends and competitor updates to support strategic product decisions and keep our backlog relevant.
8. Analytics Monitoring: Track and report key product usage and performance metrics. Flag anomalies or opportunities for optimization to the Product Manager.
9. Documentation Support: Create and maintain internal documentation such as feature specs, product how-tos, or onboarding material to assist team members and stakeholders.
10. Scope Validation: Validate the feasibility and scope of new feature requests by working with tech leads, PMs, and stakeholders, escalating unclear or risky items.
11. Process Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to product workflows, documentation, or backlog management to help streamline the team’s operations.
12. Product Championing: Support sales and marketing efforts through product demos, training sessions, and creation of marketing collateral.
13. General Product Support: Assist the Product Manager across all areas of product work as needed. This includes tasks beyond their defined scope, depending on project demands and team priorities.
