What is the job?

The Dental Billing Specialist is responsible for assisting dental practices with navigating dental billing logic, data entry, and workflows within the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support via phone, email, and ticketing systems for dental billing and claim issues.
• Resolves claim rejections related to data errors, coding, and configurations.
• Guides users on clean claim submission practices and monitors overdue invoices.
• Educates customers on recurring issues and contributes to process improvements.
• Maintains accurate records, performs data validation checks, and supports compliance.
• Stays current with system updates and participates in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience with dental or medical billing workflows (front office, billing, or insurance coordination).
• Experience using or any supporting billing/practice management software.
• Customer-facing or support experience with strong English communication (phone, email, or live support).
• Demonstrates strong understanding of dental billing workflows and insurance claim processes
• Familiarity with CPT and/or CDT codes.
