Home-Based Accounting Technician (QuickBooks Online experience)

- Accounting Expertise: Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
- Compute charges, prepaid expenses, and preliminary tax entries
- Prepare cheques, e-transfers, and EFT payments
- Reconcile records of bank transactions
- Perform data entry and analysis
- Prepare month-end reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, analysis, and discrepancy report
- Maintain records of accounts receivable and payable, as well as ledgers and journals
- Assist with payroll calculations
- Submit Payroll Taxes
- Submit GST installments to the CRA
- Remit and file T4 slips
- Analyze and record business transactions and period-end adjustments
- Prepare basic financial statements
- Compute and record depreciation for bookkeeping and tax purposes
- Cost out (calculate cost of) and record inventory
- Implement internal controls to protect company assets
- Perform other bookkeeping duties
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience
- Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
- Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
- Experience working with the Canada Revenue Agency.
- Salary Range: PHP 35,000 - 40,000
