Engineering Assistant Manager (Laguna)

The Engineering Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising, analyzing, recommending, and standardizing refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, power systems, steam systems, and preventive maintenance of equipment. The role includes managing the daily plant engineering activities.

• Ensures effective planning and accomplishment of preventive maintenance tasks according to plan.
• Evaluates daily monitoring of technician activities with regard to refrigeration system operation and maintenance.
• Assists in troubleshooting and initiates system upgrades.
• Ensures availability of power, steam, compressed air, water, and fuel.
• Ensures compliance with all internal and external auditing bodies.
• Ensures completion of customer-initiated work orders.
• Initiates and conducts pre-bid and bid evaluations and recommends suppliers/contractors for the project.
• Determines and initiates the purchase of spare parts and monitors spare parts inventory.

Job Qualifications:

• A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering courses.
• Preferably, a licensed Engineer.
• With at least three (3) years of experience in managing refirgeration and HVAC systems within a food manufacturing plant, ideally with involvement in similar production lines.
• Must have a proficient background in process equipment, refrigeration, ventilating systems, electrical power, water, steam, compressed air supply systems, and other rotating equipment operation and maintenance.
• Must possess strong communication skills and have a high level of tolerance to stress.
• Must be amenable to work onsite in Canlubang, Laguna.
