Key Responsibilities:
Design Support: Assisting senior engineers in creating HVAC system designs, including layouts, equipment selection, and calculations.
System Testing and Balancing: Conducting tests to ensure HVAC systems operate at optimal performance and making necessary adjustments.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with HVAC equipment, such as air handling units, chillers, and heat pumps.
Project Management: Supporting project engineers with tasks like scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of service activities, project progress, and client interactions.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to safety regulations and guidelines.
Collaboration: Working with other engineers, technicians, and facility owners to address HVAC needs.
Training and Mentoring: Assisting in the training of junior technicians and sharing knowledge on best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Technical Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of HVAC principles, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with HVAC design software like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Communication: Effective communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience: Entry-level positions typically require some practical experience through internships or prior work.
