SYSTEM INTEGRATOR ANALYST
Brief Description and Purpose of the Position
The System Integrator Analyst is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the integration of software systems, platforms, and applications across various departments and stakeholders. This role ensures interoperability, data consistency, and process automation by bridging technical solutions with business needs.
Competencies- Software Development
- Dissects multi-system workflows to identify potential points of failure or inefficiency.
- Understands the logical flow of data between systems and pinpoints where transformation or validation is needed.
- Anticipates system impact when designing or updating integration points.
- Ensure that system enhancements and/or new systems developed meet the requirements of the requester.
- Minimize bugs in systems, acknowledge that perfection is unattainable, and address any identified issues promptly.
- Accurately identifies bugs, inconsistencies, or anomalies, even in complex test scenarios.
- Process Adherence
- Strictly follows the system integration process, including test planning, case design, execution, defect logging, and reporting.
- Ensures all testing artifacts—such as test plans, scripts, and results—are well-documented, version-controlled, and auditable.
- Participates in process audits and continuously aligns tasks with updated policies or workflow improvements.
- Identifies deviations from established procedures and proactively raises them for review and resolution.
- Documentation and Records Keeping
- Maintains thorough and accurate records of test cases, test results, defects, and quality metrics to ensure traceability and accountability throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Effective Collaboration
- Actively engages with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and understand system behavior.
- Shares testing insights, defects, and risks clearly and constructively to support timely resolution.
- Participates in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives with an open and solution-oriented mindset.
- Adapts communication style to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical) to ensure mutual understanding.
- Workplace Safety and Security Compliance
- Implement and adhere to security measures to safeguard physical and digital assets.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities that may compromise workplace security
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, BSIT or any other computer-related course
- Experience: At least 1 years of relevant experience
- Others:
- Basic understanding of system processes and awareness of how applications, databases, and networks interact in a multi-system environment.
- Basic understanding in system installation, and proficiency in user account management.
