Job Description
The Logistics Team Leader responsibilities include managing the Philippines-based HelloConnect Logistics team, involving task delegation, training, onboarding, OKR management, and team activities. This role requires exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively lead meetings, create executive-level decks, and engage with stakeholders across functions.The Team Leader will drive adherence to policies and performance standards, build task checklists for efficiency, and proactively seek opportunities for improvement. They will also conduct performance reviews, support hiring, create SOPs, develop reporting and metrics for operational visibility, and foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Responsibilities and duties- Responsible for managing the Philippines-based HelloConnect Logistics team, delegating daily tasks, managing training, onboarding, OKR responsibilities, holidays, and team-building activities.
- Lead and manage the HC logistics team, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring information is communicated clearly, concisely, and professionally.
- Drive reporting and metrics on operational performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Proactively build and maintain daily task checklists for the team and ensure all tasks are completed to performance standards. Providing hands on support with tasks completion during team vacations, emergencies.
- Complete performance reviews of direct team members, supporting hiring for new roles, and demonstrating proven experience in managing team performance through clear KPIs and metrics.
- Build standard operating procedures (SOPs) for direct and indirect teams, identifying areas for improvement, maintaining a proactive approach to prevent potential challenges.
- Assist the HelloFresh Inbound Logistics team with reporting and analysis support, ensure coverage during peak periods and vacations, and enhance collaboration with HelloFresh Logistics Specialists.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and 3PW partners, to foster seamless collaboration and communication.
- Plan and run regular engagement events with the Philippines-based HelloConnect team.
- Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, preferably in the food or CPG industry.
- Fluency in written and verbal communication; proven ability to lead meetings, present to stakeholders, and create clear, impactful decks.
- Curious and process-driven mindset, with a strong desire to learn, collaborate, and proactively take ownership of initiatives.
- Proven people leadership experience, including performance management, KPI setting, and coaching team members for success.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced experience in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in PowerPoint required for professional presentation development.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding organization and detail orientation.
