Responsibilities:

• Backend API Development: Focus on building and maintaining robust backend APIs that interact efficiently with databases.
• Server Infrastructure: Ensure the stability and performance of server infrastructure.
• Internal Tool Development: Develop essential internal tools to support various team operations.
• Code Quality: Deliver high-quality, well-structured code adhering to best-in-class engineering practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Game Design, Art, QA, PM, and Data teams to ship games with world-class polish, particularly focusing on backend support.
• Website Development Contribution: Occasionally contribute to website development tasks.
• (Junior Role Specific): Participate in a 6-month paid intensive training program, accelerating learning and career growth in backend and full-stack development.

Requirements:

• Technical Background (Mandatory):
• Proficiency in PHP.
• Strong understanding and experience with MySQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Technical Background (Optional/Preferred):
• Experience with C#.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Experience with Javascript/Typescript.
• Full Stack Understanding: Basic knowledge or understanding of full-stack development, with a primary focus on back-end technologies.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Soft Skills:
• Passion for software development and gaming.
• Self-motivator with strong problem-solving skills.
• Can communicate and work effectively in English.
• Work Environment:
• Willingness to work in Makati.
• Willingness to work Monday to Saturday.
• Experience Level: Both entry-level (new graduates or career changers) and experienced applicants are welcome. No prior mobile game development experience is required. However, familiarity with Unity3D, iOS / Android Development, and App Development is a plus.
