Head of Corporate Coverage

As the Head of Corporate Coverage, you will be responsible in the business management and leadership accountability for Philippines’ Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) and Local Corporates (LC) client coverage segments. You will lead the Relationship Management in a way that supports the business growth agenda and priorities.

This role will be required to:

• Drive sustainable growth through deepening customer relationships and customer acquisitions, working closely with product and enablement partners
• Ensure the quality of the asset portfolio is maintained in line with Group strategy.
• Contribute to a strong risk culture and ensuring all group standards and regulatory/compliance requirements are met
• Strengthen governance across the Coverage team
• Manage and grow the GSG and Local Corporates business and clients to attain cost, revenue and volume targets.
• Maintain overall relationships with GSG and Local Corporates and develop new clients for the bank by identifying valuable business opportunities
• Develop and communicate a clear coherent business vision, strategy and plans for clients and the portfolio
• Build strong relationships with customers and develop a detailed understanding of each existing customer’s business and financial needs
• Ensure that ANZ consistently meets or exceeds customer expectation providing superior service to ensure retention of existing profitable business.
• Establish and sustain communications with network to achieve knowledge of client requirements, opportunities and goals.
• Implement consistent and disciplined best practice sales process (i.e. planning, client calls, cross sell)

• Tertiary qualifications in any business-related field
• 15 years of general and corporate banking experience, with good knowledge of the relevant market, business, political, social and economic trends and challenges through which Philippines Corporate Banking operates
• Experience across the range of institutional products
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with clients and influence at a senior level
• Strong leadership experience, together with strong collaboration across various business/product/enablement partners to collectively achieve great business outcomes for both clients and the Bank
• Sound risk management skills
