Audit and Compliance Supervisor

The Supervisor acts as a key liaison between internal departments and the Head of Compliance and Audit to help maintain a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards across the organization
• Supervises in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal audits and ensures timely reporting of findings and action items.
• Prepare compliance-related documentation and audit checklists in alignment with corporate and legal requirements.
• Conduct periodic reviews of processes, practices, and policies to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead in the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant regulations and communicate them to appropriate departments.
• Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments.

• Leads in the implementation and maintenance of global compliance certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2022, and others.
• Supervises audit preparation and documentation required for certification renewals and surveillance audits.
• Maintain and review logs and evidence for audit readiness and certification support.

• Coordinate the review and update of company policies and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Maintain and control compliance-related documentation in accordance with the organization’s Document Management Program.
• Ensure that updated policies are effectively communicated to stakeholders and staff.

• Support the implementation and monitoring of risk control measures and ensure that risk mitigation plans are documented and tracked.
• Maintains in updating the organization’s Risk Registry.
• Coordinate with departments to gather data needed for risk evaluation and reporting.

• Coordinate training sessions and awareness programs on compliance, audit, and data privacy topics.
• Maintain records of employee participation in compliance and audit-related training.
• Provide administrative support to the Compliance and Audit Manager, including the preparation of reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure accurate and organized recordkeeping of all compliance and audit-related activities.
• Supervise and mentor audit, compliance team, RICs, and others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Library Science, Legal Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in compliance, audit, or a related function, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Background in internal or external audit with strong investigative and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable in the Philippines (e.g., Data Privacy Act, DOLE requirements, SEC, etc.).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 standards is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and document control systems.
