The Safety Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. The position ensures compliance with applicable government regulations, company policies, and international standards by conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, safety training, and emergency preparedness activities.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or any related field.
- Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer with valid BOSH/COSH training.
- Preferably Safety Officer 2 (SO2) certified or higher.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Knowledgeable in Philippine Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards, DOLE regulations, and other applicable laws.
- Familiar with hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety inspections.
- Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, ISO 45001, and BRCGS is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and willing to conduct site inspections, safety monitoring, and emergency response activities.
