Audit and Controls Engineering Specialist
Purpose of the Role:
Conduct energy audit by collecting facility and/or site data including energy consumption, significant energy users, building envelope, equipment performance, operations and practices, occupancy and connected loads including plant room operations among others, interpreting data, proposing energy efficiency measures to optimize energy performance, and communicating results to clients.
Obtain, organize pertinent engineering data, update equipment and material pricing, and design and estimate appropriate building and equipment automation required in a project.
Contribute to innovation through digital transformation, automation processes, and up-to-date technology that will augment the current end to end solutions of the organization to the future of IoT.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering
- Registered Mechanical Engineer or Registered Electrical Engineer/Certified Energy Auditor
- At least 2 years related work experience in the energy service, HVAC, or automation and controls industry
- Minimum 1-2 years of specific experience in energy auditing is required for this position.
- Energy management or auditing certifications are preferred for this role.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of building automation and controls experience is required for this position.
