Job Summary:

• The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing the supply of goods and services required by the company. This role ensures that purchases are made at the best possible price, quality, and delivery terms while maintaining accurate records and supporting overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, and reliability
• Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure adequate stock
• Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best deals
• Track orders and ensure on-time delivery of goods
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
• Coordinate with accounting for billing, payments, and invoice verification
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
• Resolve issues related to defective or incorrect deliveries
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost analysis
