ERP Finance Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP Finance Consultant with a strong background in accounting and SAP/ERP environments to support the design and development of a next-generation ERP system.

This role focuses on translating real-world accounting practices and ERP workflows into system design, ensuring that the platform aligns with industry standards and practical operational needs.

The Consultant will work closely with internal teams to define workflows, validate logic, and improve system architecture based on actual implementation experience.

• Provide functional expertise in accounting and ERP system workflows
• Translate real-world business processes into structured system requirements

Advise on:

• General ledger design
• Chart of accounts structuring
• Financial reporting flows
• Tax and compliance handling
• Review and validate:
• System logic
• Transaction flows
• Controls and audit trails
• Contribute to ERP module design, particularly:
• Finance & Accounting
• Inventory and costing integration
• Identify inefficiencies in traditional ERP systems and recommend improved approaches
• Participate in design reviews, UAT frameworks, and process simulations

Industry Exposure (Critical Requirement)

Hands-on experience in at least one (preferably multiple):

• Retail – inventory, multi-branch, POS reconciliation
• Services – project accounting, billing cycles
• Food & Beverage / Restaurants – daily sales, costing, shrinkage
• Manufacturing / Production – BOM, WIP, cost accounting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• CPA – preferred but not required
• Strong background in SAP or similar ERP systems

Deep understanding of:

• Accounting operations
• ERP finance modules
• Business process flows

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience

Clarification:

5 years is acceptable IF:

• Candidate has actual ERP implementation exposure (not just user-level)
• Has worked on process design, not just execution
• Has exposure to multiple business environments

Preferred Profile:

• 5–8 years → Functional Consultant / Power User with implementation exposure
• 8+ years → Senior Consultant / ERP Architect

• Advisory and design-focused role
• Not limited to a single system or vendor
• Focused on knowledge transfer and system shaping, not routine operations
