Credit Processing Specialist (Remote) – Support for Australian Finance Team

Overview:

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in managing financial documentation for home loans? We’re expanding our offshore support team and looking for a Credit Processing Specialist to assist an Australian finance client. You’ll play an essential role in reviewing applications, coordinating with brokers, and delivering high-standard loan support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident handling financial data and working independently with Australian-based teams in a remote setup.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee mortgage applications from lodgement to settlement.
• Review and validate supporting financial documentation.
• Ensure all documents meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments, brokers, and clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up on pending items.
• Assess income and credit data to evaluate client eligibility.
• Recommend approval conditions or escalate files when necessary.
• Apply your analytical skills to manage risk and support sound decisions.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in loan processing, credit review, or mortgage support
• Strong knowledge of the Australian home loan process
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Familiarity with loan platforms (e.g., ApplyOnline, Salestrecker, Quickli)
• Confidence working with financial documentation (payslips, tax, bank statements)
• Ability to work in a remote role with minimal supervision
• A degree in Finance, Business, or a similar discipline is an advantage

Bonus Points For:

• Previous experience with Australian credit teams or brokers
• Understanding of a wide range of lender policies and scenarios
• Experience working with credit scoring tools and document verification software
