Truck Driver

About the role

Here in Wee Comm Magnum Properties, Inc., the Truck Driver plays a vital role in the warehouse and logistics operations. Their core essence lies in ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for daily operations and project completion.

1. Delivery Activities

1. Secures timely deliveries of materials to the Project.
2. Ensures safe and efficient delivery of goods to the Project.
3. Records the time of deliveries, logs work/rest periods, and odometer readings from departure upon arrival on a daily basis using the Daily Trip Ticket Monitoring.
4. Documents and reports of any damages on the deliverables.
5. Secures a receiving copy of the Materials Issuance Form (MIF) from the Warehouse and Customer.
6. Plans routes to meet on-time delivery schedules.
7. Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.

1. Receiving and pick-up activities

1. Secures timely pick-up of materials from the Supplier.
2. Records the time of pick up, logs work/rest periods, and odometer readings from departure upon arrival on a daily basis using the Daily Trip Ticket Monitoring.
3. Secures a receiving copy of DR/SI from the Supplier.

1. Vehicle Maintenance

1. Inspects the vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and requests preventive maintenance from the Warehouse Supervisor.
2. Monitors and documents the diesel consumption of the vehicle.
3. Cleans and washes the vehicle.
4. Requests the vehicle's consumables (e. g. headlights, clearance lights, etc.).
5. Checks and processes Personal Driver’s license renewal.
6. Provides a weekly checklist report to be submitted to the Warehouse Supervisor.
7. Documents and reports of any damages or defects on the equipment for them to be properly addressed by the Warehouse Supervisor to be reported to the Warehouse and Logistics Head for action.

1. Safety

1. Ensures that Company Safety Rules and Regulations are followed in the warehouse/sites during deliveries, pull-out schedules, and other hauling activities.
2. Reports road incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor.
3. Follows and observes traffic laws.
4. Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment in every Delivery/Pull out schedule, loading, and unloading activity.

1. Other tasks/activities

1. Renders driving services during site reconciliations, meetings, and billing purposes.
2. Functions as Warehouse Aide if there are no delivery or pick-up activities.

• At least Highschool graduate
• With at least three (3) years of related working experience
• Professional Driver License
• Willing to start as soon as possible
