Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Associate located in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and efficient management of accounts receivable.This role requires expertise in financial statement preparation, BIR compliance, and billing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file BIR requirements (monthly and quarterly). Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, and other required BIR reports. Keep track of deadlines to avoid penalties and ensure compliance with government regulations. Maintain proper documentation and coordinate with the relevant authorities for any tax-related concerns.
- Create Financial Statements for various accounts. Generate and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by reconciling records, verifying transactions, and providing insights into financial performance.
- Encode and maintain financial documents for BIR compliance. Organize and input necessary financial data into accounting systems to comply with BIR reporting requirements. Ensure proper documentation, filing, and safekeeping of records for audit and compliance purposes. Regularly update and verify data to maintain accuracy.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and ensure timely collections. Track outstanding invoices and follow up with clients to ensure prompt payments. Reconcile account balances and maintain an updated record of receivables. Investigate and resolve discrepancies while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Prepare and issue Statements of Account (SOA) and billings. Accurately generate and distribute SOAs and invoices to clients, ensuring clarity and completeness of billing details. Verify charges, apply necessary adjustments, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper documentation and timely issuance of billing statements.
- Strong knowledge of BIR filing and tax compliance.
- Experience in handling Accounts Receivable and collections.
- Proficiency in creating Billings and SOA.
- Ability to prepare accurate Financial Statements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
- The position will be full-time onsite at our office at Alabang, Muntinlupa.
