Project Engineer (Solar)

Design and engineer preliminary solar PV systems for zero-export and export projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments, including shading and load analysis.
- Collaborate with clients and A&E teams to integrate solar designs into infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, electrical codes, and permitting requirements.
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Research emerging solar technologies and perform cost-benefit analyses for adoption.
- Monitor and analyse solar facility performance; recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit regular performance reports for managed solar facilities.

A successful Project Engineer (Solar) should have:
- A minimum of three-years experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing of utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Experience in solar PV system design, performance simulation (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope), and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, load calculations, equipment specification, and grid interconnection requirements.
- Proven involvement in installation, commissioning, operations, or maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Proficiency in drafting technical reports, design documentation, and performance analyses.
- Experience or exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a plus but not required.
