Materials Planning Analyst (Fixed Term Employment)

Role Overview:
The Materials Planning Analyst consolidates and analyzes key performance indicators for materials, understands trends, issues, and tracks improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- ACTUAL VS. BP Monthly Day Sales Inventory
- Inventory days level of materials. Data is derived from SAP’s month-end report, aligned with Finance. This is compared with consumption vs. prevail and BP.
- Concentrates – Materials in transit are not in the system. Need to manually plot the in-transit inventory from accrual reports (should eventually move to Materials Movement).
- Sweeteners
- Resin
- Packaging Materials
- Glass Information
- Weekly Glass Retrieval – Measures the amount of glass retrieved based on FG released from Plant vs. what is returned from Trade to DC and DC to Plant.
- National basis, cut by DC/Region, Plant/SKU.
- Data is derived from weekly sales report.
- Matches with SAP transactions of releases vs. returns from DC to Trade and vice versa, per SKU.
- Weekly Glass Breakage Rate vs. Sales
- Amount of glass breakage per plant, by SKU.
- Derived from reports provided by Plant.
- Weekly Sweetener Usage (HFCS and Sweeteners Ratio) – done by Coordinator, consolidation of all materials.
- Matching mix of HFCS and Sweeteners.
- Matches weekly production schedule plan per SKU vs. actual consumption.
- Generates reports on Hanging POs and GRs (should move to Materials Movement)
- Support to Inbound on reporting hanging shipments, etc.
- Procurement to Pay Process tracking – Real-time.
- Daily materials supportability vs. production schedule plan.
- Weekly consolidation of aging materials inventory – Prepared by Plant, Consolidation, and Action Planning will be done by the Analyst.
- Works and tracks actions with various stakeholders to avert material inventory write-off.
- Works with Systems Team on data automation-related projects to facilitate faster data retrieval for materials KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, reporting, graphs).
- 1–2 years data/reporting experience preferred; experience in data consolidation, report generation, and analysis.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling reports.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive and persistent in stakeholder follow-ups.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive reports.
- Willing to work early shifts (as early as 6 AM if needed).
- Open to fresh graduates
- Experience in FMCG or logistics is an advantage!
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is a plus!
- Strong analytical, organized, and initiative-driven mindset.
