Assistant Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Finance Manager in preparing and reviewing timely and accurate financial reports.
• Review and analyze journal entries, ensuring alignment with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and other departments, to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. CPA license preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance or accounting
• Proven audit experience (public practice) at a supervisory level OR prior experience as an assistant/associate accounting manager in a private company
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skill
