Performs analyses of chemical samples and operates Laboratory machines. Prepares and tests reagent and standard sample according to the standard operating procedure with the objective of giving fast, accurate and reliable concentration results to Production Lines.

Work or practice under the supervision of a registered Chemist

Responsibilities

Receive and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses for chemical solution from Production lines.
Identifies samples and measures temperature, pH and specific gravity.
Set up Lab instrument such as Spectrophotometer, CVS machines and other equipment and operates according to SOP.
Check and maintain laboratory instrument and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
Assist Shift Leader/Process Leader in trouble shooting the Lab instrument or equipment.
Prepares and tests reagent, standard samples and indicators for use in chemical analysis
Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of BS Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology, Biochemistry and related course.
Licensed Chemical Technician and member of ICP.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Willing to be assigned in FPIP Sto.Tomas, Batangas.
