The Software Support Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of

the Software Support and Training teams offer by focusing on.
  • Manager and Lead the Team of Software Support Representative
  • Oversee the day to day operations of the support team ensuring timely and effective resolution of
customer issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with 80’s customers, understanding their needs and expectations
  • Continual, measurable improvement in the customer experience as it relates to the efficient / optimum
use of the Databuild Software suite
  • Co-development and delivery of specific software support material and training to coincide with
planned software releases.
  • Act as a voice of the customer into the creation of the Commercial & Technology Software roadmaps

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications, skills & experience:
  • Experience in the software industry, particularly around developing and delivering software support &
training programs
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability combined with a curious nature to explore ‘what’s possible’
  • Deep understanding of the customer with a demonstrated ability to tailor the delivery of your value
proposition to improve their productivity and profitability
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically to position a business to win
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills combined with the ability to make sensible and timely decisions
  • Demonstrated passion for coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong and influential communication style in both written and presentation skillsets
  • Ability to build strong relationships, at various levels, both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated, energetic & can work both autonomously & as part of the team
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment, demonstrating a strong consultative
approach and manner
  • Above average computer skills including the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products
Highly desirable:
  • Experience within the truss & frame/construction industry
  • Experience in using the Databuild suite of software
