Security Supervisor
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Southern Arms Corporation in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel.This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
What you'll be doing- Supervise and coordinate the security team, ensuring they maintain high standards of performance and professionalism
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance the overall security of the organisation
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring a timely and effective resolution
- Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities
- Provide training and mentorship to the security team, helping them develop their skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to security operations
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a security supervisory role, preferably in the Trades & Services industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on risk mitigation
- Thorough understanding of security best practices, regulations, and emergency response procedures
- Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology, such as CCTV systems and access control
- A valid security license or certification, as required by local regulations
