We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful business analysis, and strong stakeholder collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for managing month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow reporting, while ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and business leaders to provide data-driven insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and influence decision-making through clear and actionable financial analysis. What You’ll Do- Partner with internal finance teams (AP, AR, Payroll, Tax) to ensure accurate and timely financial data submission
- Collaborate with business unit leaders and operations teams to gather inputs for reporting, budgeting, and forecasts
- Present financial insights and analysis to stakeholders, translating data into actionable recommendations
- Influence decision-making by articulating trends, risks, and opportunities using clear, data-driven narratives
- Work closely with senior leadership and managers during month-end and reporting cycles to align on results and variances
- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to provide required documentation and clarifications
- Maintain regular communication with the wider accounting team to track deadlines and ensure deliverables are met
- Engage stakeholders proactively to identify business needs, improve processes, and resolve financial issues
- Support cross-functional teams in business case preparation and investment evaluations
- Ensure all interactions uphold compliance, governance standards, and strong professional relationships
Requirements
What You Bring- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in construction or similar industry.
- Qualification in accounting, economics or law
- CA/CPA accreditation or working towards
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, MYOB and other accounting software.
- Must be willing to learn and become efficient in construction management software
- General Purpose Financial reporting experience
- Management Financial Reporting experience
- Good understanding of General Ledger and accounting processes
- Office Administration skills
- Experience in credit management & debt collection
- Enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
