Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Special Needs Education (SNED) Teacher who will provide individualized and developmentally appropriate instruction to learners with diverse abilities. The ideal candidate is committed to inclusive practices, behavior support, and collaborative teaching to ensure meaningful learning experiences for all students.

• Plan and deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to students with special needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student assessments.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies, including behavior management and differentiated instruction.
• Monitor student progress and document developmental, academic, and behavioral outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents, therapists (e.g., SLPs, OTs), and other professionals to support holistic development.
• Adapt curriculum materials and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ social, emotional, and functional skill development.
• Participate in case conferences, school programs, and professional development activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Needs Education (SNED) (required).
• Licensed Professional Teacher (LET Passer) is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Preferably with experience working with children with diverse needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, speech and language difficulties).

• Strong understanding of inclusive education and child development.
• Ability to create and implement IEPs and individualized interventions.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies (e.g., positive behavior support, ABA-informed approaches).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with diverse learners.
• Ability to use instructional and assistive technologies.
