QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring that products meet the established standards of quality and reliability. This position is crucial in identifying defects, streamlining manufacturing processes, and implementing quality control measures that align with industry standards and customer expectations.Typically situated in dynamic environments where cutting-edge semiconductor and electronics products are developed, the Quality Assurance Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to enhance product quality and mitigate risks associated with product failures.
Their contributions significantly impact product performance and customer satisfaction, thus driving the overall success of the organization.
- Facilitate and manage the containment, problem-solving, and closure of customer claims using the 8D methodology.
- Conduct failure analysis for internal and external defects:
- Analyze failure reports to determine the root cause.
- Provide feedback and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Ensure that the Outgoing Inspection Process is conducted according to defined standards and procedures to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Comply with all internal and external audit requirements and targets, implementing improvement actions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or related field.
- With engineering license is an advantage but not required
- Specialization in 8D Problem-Solving, Failure Analysis, and Kepner-Tregoe Analysis is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Customer Quality, 8D methodology, and QA/QC engineering functions.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and 3D CAD accurately.
- Familiarity and practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of the proper use and operation of dimensional inspection equipment, machines, and gauges.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Capability to provide appropriate dispositions for lots affected by quality issues.
