The Substation Technician is responsible for supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of high-voltage substation equipment to ensure safe and reliable system performance. The role includes assisting in switching operations, monitoring electrical equipment, and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with established electrical safety procedures and standards.
The position requires strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and high-voltage operational safety practices to maintain a safe working environment and continuous power system operations.
Job Title: Substation Technician
Job Qualifications:
- A Registered Master Electrician (RME) or TESDA NC II holder
- With at least 2 years of experience preferably in high-voltage substation operations
- Knowledgeable with electrical safety procedures, LOTO, and high-voltage operational safety standards
- A Computer Literate; with basic understanding and ability to use computers.
