Accounting Supervisor

About the role

As an Accounting Supervisor at GCM Trade Essentials, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate reporting. This full-time position is based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, and will involve a range of responsibilities within the financial accounting and reporting functions.

1. Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
2. Maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciling bank statements
3. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
4. Implementing and adhering to internal controls and accounting procedures
5. Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of financial systems and reporting

1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounting and Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
