Finance Manager
RxTro Pty Ltd Batangas Full-time
We're a fast-growing team of ~25 people building something we're proud of — and we need a Finance Manager who thrives in that kind of environment. This isn't a back-office role. You'll own the numbers end-to-end: from daily accounting through to board-level reporting, and everything in between.
The right person has spent their career in finance management — not audit — and understands what it actually takes to run the financial function of a growing business. You're as comfortable rolling up your sleeves on month-end close as you are presenting to leadership.
What you'll own
Accruals & month-end close- Manage accruals across both revenue and costs with rigour and accuracy — this is a core part of the role.
- Own the month-end close process, ensuring financial statements are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain clean, well-documented workpapers that stand up to scrutiny.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop financial models and rolling forecasts that actually get used to run the business.
- Produce clear, insight-driven reports for management, investors, and lenders.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and keep forecasts current throughout the year.
- Track budget variances and surface issues early, with recommended actions.
- Oversee AP, AR, and the general ledger.
- Maintain internal controls appropriate for a growing SME — practical, not bureaucratic.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS as applicable).
- Manage revenue recognition across subscription products in line with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
- Reconcile subscription revenue data between CRM and financial systems, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with data engineering.
- Review and manage contracts with suppliers, customers, and partners — tracking milestones and flagging risks.
- Partner with business development to ensure sales contracts are reflected accurately in revenue forecasts.
What we're looking for
We're specifically looking for someone with a background in finance management — not external audit. If you've spent most of your career in an audit practice, this probably isn't the right fit.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a finance management role, ideally in an SME or scale-up environment.
- Strong, hands-on experience managing accruals across both revenue and costs — this comes up in the interview.
- Comfortable owning the full finance function end-to-end, not just one piece of it.
- Experience with subscription revenue models and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) is a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with CRM-finance reconciliation is valued.
- Strong communicator who can translate financials into plain language for non-finance stakeholders.
- You'll have genuine ownership — this is a high-visibility role with direct access to leadership.
- A collaborative team of ~25 people where your work has real impact from day one.
- Competitive salary and benefits, with room to grow as the company does.
- A culture that values continuous improvement and doing things properly.
