Posted on 10 April 2026I. BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for operating machines and handling materials in the sheet metal fabrication process. This includes cutting, bending, punching,assembling, and finishing metal components according to production specifications. The operator ensures product quality safety, and adherence
to production schedules.
II. KEY ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor. Coordinates with QC/QA, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate sheet metal machinery such as shearing, press brake, turret punch, laser cutter, or welding machines.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Measure and inspect metal parts to ensure conformance with design specifications.
- Perform simple machine setups and adjustments as required for production runs.
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and quality standards strictly.
- Report any non-conforming materials or quality issues to the Team Leader or QA.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area (5S practice).
- Fill out production reports, checklists, and material usage logs accurately.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel when machines require servicing or troubleshooting.
Qualifications/Requirements
IV. QUALIFICATION
Education : At least a High School Graduate; Vocational or TESDA certificate in machining, welding, or metal works is an advantage.Experience : Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in a sheet metal or fabrication facility.
Fresh graduates or trainees may be considered with appropriate technical skills.
Skills : Basic knowledge of sheet metal processes and equipment.
Ability to read measuring tools (caliper, ruler, tape measure) and basic engineering drawings.
Physically fit and able to perform standing, lifting, and manual tasks for extended periods.
Attentive to detail, quality-focused, and safety-conscious.
Others : Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Can work well in a team environment and follow instructions properly.
Flexible and willing to learn new processes and equipment.
