AutoCad Operator

Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing designs, drawings, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their instructions and to answer their questions.
• Reviews engineering data to ensure compliance with the original design plans.
• Modifies existing drawings.
• Fulfilled (within the deadline and budget constraints) design activities according to project specs.
• Analyzed and evaluated the project designs.
• Communicates with Project Management for CAD needs.
• Implemented means to solve and analyzed project issues within project scope and requirements.
• Prepare submittal documentation.
• Establishes and maintains an organized file system for As-Built Drawings and associated records and documentation.
• Uses manual drawing skills for plans that cannot be computer generated.
• Visits customer site to collect data for drawing.
• Prepare and create job order form for fabrication shop.
• Responsible for product photo database accomplishment.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Lead Service Engineer.
