Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Logistics, or any related field.
  • With at least 2–3 years of experience in fleet operations, motor pool management, or vehicle maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance scheduling (PMS), truck repairs, and fleet performance monitoring.
  • Experience in inventory management of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and documentation of maintenance records.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare summary reports on truck performance, including availability, utilization, and downtime analysis versus targets.
  • Conduct and implement regular safety and maintenance checks for all tank trucks.
  • Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and repair activities based on truck kilometer readings.
  • Initiate work orders, canvass suppliers, and prepare purchase requisitions for repair, maintenance, and other operational needs.
  • Ensure the timely availability of correct spare parts, consumables, tools, and equipment required for repair works.
  • Manage and organize the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, including proper disposal of damaged or unusable items.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck repairs, maintenance activities, and operational logs for monitoring and reference.
  • Supervise and monitor the work performance of mechanics and ensure repair activities are completed efficiently.
  • Ensure that drivers properly maintain their assigned trucks and respond promptly to their operational needs.
  • Serve as Inventory Custodian, responsible for requesting and releasing consumables for proper monitoring and control.
  • Coordinate and maintain open communication with other departments regarding truck operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Review existing procedures and recommend improvements to enhance motor pool services and operational efficiency.
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations involving drivers or truck units.
  • Implement and maintain good housekeeping and safety standards within the motor pool and truck units.
  • Ensure that drivers and mechanics wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during operations.
  • Assist in emergency operations by mobilizing manpower, tools, and equipment when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit Incident Reports for emergency cases within 24 hours for proper escalation and resolution.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
