Job Summary
The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, training, and compliance with labor laws.This role works closely with management to support business objectives by developing and maintaining a productive, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and employee orientation.
- Oversee employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Implement and monitor company HR policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Manage employee performance evaluation programs and coordinate performance improvement initiatives.
- Administer employee compensation, benefits, attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate employee training, learning, and development programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, manpower analysis, and workforce planning recommendations for management.
- Support disciplinary investigations and ensure proper documentation of employee cases.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention programs.
- Collaborate with department heads to address manpower requirements and organizational development needs.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sector is an advantage.
- Background in ISO documentation and HR process improvement is a plus.
- Knowledge of government statutory benefits and compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE, and BIR requirements).
