Additionally, the role provides cost management and analysis support for the Global Development and Content Hubs in Jakarta and Manila.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing for the allocated companies
• Responsible for all accounting processes and tasks (GL, account reconciliation, reporting etc)
• Preparation and submission of GST/ VAT returns
• End to end processing of fortnightly payroll for New Zealand
• Support administration and / oversight for Payroll for Australia when required
• Fixes Assets management – additions, disposals, reconciliations
• Management of intangible assets
• Intercompany billing relating to project costs as per agreed internal methodology and format
• Manage development cost capitalization process, ensuring adherence to group policy and relevant accounting standard
• Manage Project cost tracking, transfers from WIP to assets and depreciation entries
• Monthly review, analysis and reporting on costs related to Group Projects
• Responding to queries on invoicing and costing relating to IC recharges
• Provide support and guidance to Accounts payable team with queries relating to coding
• Support forecasting and budgeting as per corporate guidelines
• Assist with audit, R&D claim & tax returns as required
• Assist with development of appropriate accounting controls and procedures to ensure compliance and overall data integrity
• Support adhoc projects as required by the Group Finance, APAC VP Finance and Financial Controller

Key Performance Indicators:

• On time and accurate completion of month end tasks and reporting
• Accurate and timely processing of NZ payroll
• Accurate IC Invoicing for project costs and management of CAPEX process
• Preferably CPA/CA qualified with minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accountant in a multinational company
• Experience in Finance, Accounting, and Payroll within the ANZ region is required
• In-dept understanding of general accounting principles
• Strong data analytical skills and proven experience with business and financial reports
• Advanced excel skills
• Financial modelling skills with the ability to provide insights into financial and business performance
• Experience with project accounting
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
