We are looking for a friendly and efficient Counter Crew Member to assist customers with their purchases of fresh produce, seafood, and meat. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of food handling practices, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for quality products.

• Greet and assist customers at the fresh food counter (vegetables, seafood, and meat sections).
• Weigh, wrap, and package products according to customer preferences and safety standards.
• Ensure counters are fully stocked, clean, and attractively displayed.
• Provide product information and offer suggestions or cooking tips when requested.
• Handle slicing, cutting, and basic preparation of meats and seafood if trained and certified.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock regularly to minimize waste.
• Maintain hygiene standards and follow food safety guidelines at all times.
• Use scales and labeling machines accurately for pricing and packaging.
• Report low stock levels or product issues to the supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

• Previous experience in a fresh food counter, butcher shop, seafood market, or grocery store is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (certification is a plus).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (e.g., seafood or meat section).
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift up to [weight, e.g., 20kg].
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Remarks
